Turkish American Police Officer Cem Duzel was shot and critically injured in the line of duty while responding to call on the east side of Colorado Springs on Thursday, August 2, 2018.
Officer Duzel, a five-year veteran of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), remains stable, but in critical condition with traumatic head injuries at the UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs.
The Colorado Springs Police Protective Association (CSPPA) is collecting tax deductible donations for Officer Cem Duzel and his family through its Fallen Officer Relief Fund.
